Froggy Castle is a nice arcade game, with lots of levels to play, great gameplay and the task of stopping the frogs' invasion.
Froggy Castle introduces two attractive characters, Hamster Pitt and Princess Patty, who are the sentinels of their castle. Big and nasty frogs are invading their kingdom, but they have already found a way of attacking them.
Frogs are really thick, like balloons, and what you have to do is to deflate them so that they split into smaller frogs. When they reach their smallest size, they will instantly disappear from the screen. To deflate the thick frogs, you have an effective weapon consisting in bow and arrow. Your shot should be very precise since if they touch you, you will lose a life. Apart from the weapons, depending on your character, you will have a special ability to avoid being touched by the frogs, Pitt has a shield, and Patty the super roll, a quick movement. Besides, you will be getting a variety of bonus items and power-ups to help you in your adventure.
Although in the first levels the game seems too easy, you will find yourself making a lot of effort to pass the higher levels, as new enemies appear, and the number of frogs becomes a real threat.
The game can be played with two players, and which is better, it offers several options to controll the characters, with the mouse, keyboard, and gamepad.
